Job summary

OCBC Singapore is seeking a seasoned Regional Business Analyst for IT to support the Cash Management domain, driving transformation and product development across payments and collections. The role interfaces with business, operations, and technology to deliver strategic outcomes on a regional scale.

You will engage stakeholders, define requirements, and guide options and implementations while ensuring consistency with the group’s architecture and technical stack.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in payments or financial services.
• End-to-end knowledge of Payments from customer initiation to backend fulfilment and posting.
• Expertise in cross-border payments and high-value payment systems.
• Strong understanding of SWIFT network and ISO 20022/MX formats.
• Experience in payment transformation, migration, or regulatory projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in diverse, geographically distributed teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Enterprise Payment Services transformation portfolio as a BA across initiatives and agile squads.
• Lead workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder alignment with business partners.
• Gather, document, and validate regional business and functional requirements.
• Serve as SME on SWIFT messaging and cross-border payments; translate into clear requirements.
• Analyze regional processes to harmonize design and enable digital adoption and straight-through processing.
• Support architecture committees and project teams to ensure operating models align with strategy and tech stack.
• Prepare and review test scenarios, support SIT, UAT, and related validation activities.
• Develop concise, visually compelling decks for senior stakeholders.
