Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with at least 3 years of Singapore experience in QS, especially in M&E services. The role focuses on tendering, contract administration, and cost control for facilities maintenance projects.

You will prepare contracts, manage progress claims, and coordinate with vendors and clients. Office-based role at Tagore Lane with a 5.5-day work week and strong emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Involve in tender works process and contract awarding for building facilities maintenance contracts/ projects. Work with QS Manager / Business Development Manager to prepare and review contract documents, tender documents, and bills of quantities in accordance with the BCA guidelines and Singapore's regulatory framework.

• Perform QS / SQS scope of works efficiently and effectively. To perform contracts administration for Facilities Maintenance & Building maintenance services. To provide support of maintenance and project works function. Involve in the preparation of contracts to award to vendors and sub-contractors.

• Manage progress claims and other claims put up from vendors and sub-contractors. Prepare and submit claims for completed works upon receiving of work completion reports.

• Liaise with client and client's representative on work progress, claims and KPI.
  Track, record and update on breakdown of claims, variations claims or omissions.
  Manage payments and claims via company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle. Involve in managing contract variations, valuations, and final accounts. Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and correspondence. Assist the marketing team with the preparation of tender documents and bids.

• Any other adhoc QS scope if required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma and above in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, Construction Management or any relevant qualifications in the related disciplines. At least 3 years of Singapore experience in the QS field, with a focus on M&E services. Any facilities maintenance experience with IFM exposure will be advantage.

• Candidate with project side QS experience or building construction (with exposure to M&E) are welcome to apply.

• Good command of spoken & written English.

• Ability in managing vendors and sub-contractors effectively.
  

• Good time planning , Meticulous, independent.
