Job summary

Leap Integrated Pte Ltd is seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor with strong M&E project experience and solid knowledge of Singapore's public tender framework. You will manage project finances from inception to completion, ensuring robust cost control and successful tender submissions.

Responsibilities include managing progress claims, variations, final accounts, take-offs, quotations, and tender development. Immediate start is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E projects and public tender processes in Singapore.
• Proficient in measurement, cost estimation and tender submissions.
• Experience with variation orders, progress payments and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage progress claims, variation orders, final accounts and sub-contractor claims.
• Take-off quantities, obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Estimate and cost tender submissions for competitive bids.
• Develop and manage project schedules, method statements, and temporary plans.
• Able to liaise with site personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in M&E projects and comprehensive knowledge of the local public tender framework. You will manage project finances from inception to completion, ensuring robust cost control and successful tender submissions.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts and Sub-contractor Progress Claims.
• Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier
• Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission
• Estimate, develop & manage construction schedule, method of statement, and temporary plan
• Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultant for all project-related matters.
• Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the works

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant QS experience in M&E projects (pre and post-contract) in Singapore.
• Tender Expertise: Well-versed in the public tender process, including hands-on experience with public sector procurement portals and tender documentation.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in measurement and taking-off quantities, cost estimation, and preparation of tender submissions.
• Contract Administration: Experienced in evaluating variation orders (VO), processing progress payments, and settling final accounts.
• Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with standard forms of contract and relevant regulations.
• Software Proficiency: Competent in QS software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
