About the role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Benoi Region. This full-time position is crucial in overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction infrastructure projects, ensuring their successful delivery. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing costs, negotiating contracts, and providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and project objectives.

What you'll be doing
  1. Preparing and analyzing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  2. Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  3. Measuring and valuing work completed, and processing payment applications
  4. Identifying and mitigating project risks, and implementing cost control measures
  5. Providing regular progress reports and financial updates to project managers and clients
  6. Collaborating with the construction team to optimize cost and efficiency
  7. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of construction projects
  9. Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bill of quantities (BQ), specifications, and contract conditions.
What we're looking for
  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  3. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
  4. Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the broader project team
  6. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  7. Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards

Working Location: Benoi area

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm (Mon to Fri)
