Job summary

A logistics recruitment firm is seeking a qualified candidate for a logistics role in Singapore. Responsibilities

  • Support audits and quality-related activities.

  • Prepare and maintain SOPs and documentation.
  • Conduct training for staff and partners.
  • Work on system improvements with the IT team.
  • Provide daily operational support.
  • Prepare operational and KPI reports.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
  • Align processes across operational teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with special customer requests.
  • Travel overseas if required.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure operations comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits, qualification programmes, claims, and other quality-related activities.
  • Act as the operations point-of-contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate projects and ensure timelines and customer expectations are met.
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs and process flow documentation.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal staff and external partners when required.
  • Work with the IT team on system improvements, integration, and testing for new projects.
  • Provide daily operational support and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain regional SOPs and ensure processes are consistently followed.
  • Prepare operational and KPI reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a communication hub between customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Align processes across different operational teams to improve efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with the Operations Manager.
  • Assist with ad-hoc quotations and special customer requests.
  • Travel overseas when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, International Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics; air and ocean freight exposure preferred.
