Job summary

A reputable food manufacturing firm in Singapore is hiring a QC Executive to ensure the highest quality standards in their production process. The role requires conducting inspections, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should hold a diploma in a relevant discipline and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. This permanent position offers a salary package of up to $3500 plus bonuses, and working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cleanliness inspections of factory equipment prior to production.
  • Perform comprehensive quality checks on raw materials and finished products.

  • Coordinate inspection and sampling schedules with departments.
  • Verify certificates for raw materials to meet required standards.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cleanliness inspections of factory equipment prior to production
  • Perform comprehensive quality checks on raw materials and finished products, including microbial, sensory, and visual evaluations
  • Immediately report any quality concerns to supervisors for further investigation and corrective action
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to plan inspection and sampling schedules
  • Review and verify certificates to ensure all raw materials meet required standards before use
  • Provide training and guidance to newly onboarded staff
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in both internal and external audits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
  • Conduct equipment calibration in accordance with established requirements
  • Manage inventory and ensure the laboratory remains clean and well-organized
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for materials and finished products
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by the company
