Position Overview

The QC Biochem Analyst is responsible for executing biochemical and analytical testing to support product quality and manufacturing operations. This role involves performing routine and non‑routine laboratory analyses in accordance with approved SOPs, test methods, and cGMP requirements. The analyst ensures accurate documentation of results, supports troubleshooting of analytical methods and laboratory equipment, and contributes to overall laboratory efficiency through 5S practices and inventory management. Working collaboratively within the Quality Control team, the QC Biochem Analyst plays a key role in maintaining quality standards while meeting operational timelines in a regulated life sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and perform various testing and analyses in a timely manner to support business requirements.
  • Analyze product samples according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Test Methods.
  • Document results in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Troubleshoot analytical methods and perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Provide general 5S laboratory support, including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory management of supplies, and glassware handling.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant Science field or equivalent.
  • Relevant laboratory experience in life sciences is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control (QC).
  • Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn from experience.
  • Maintains quality standards while delivering results.
  • Understanding and execution of ELISA, potency assays, PCR, and FACS methods.
