Reporting To
Project Manager / Project Director
Responsibilities
- Site & Construction Management
- Take full responsibility for site management and daily site operations
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site workers
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, method statements, and specifications
- Resolve site technical issues and coordinate design clarifications with consultants
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare and maintain project schedules (baseline, look-ahead, recovery plans)
- Monitor progress against approved schedule and identify risks or delays
- Coordinate sequencing of works to meet project milestones
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare weekly progress reports, including:
- Physical progress
- Manpower deployment
- Issues & risk items
- Look-ahead activities
- Attend site coordination meetings and progress meetings
- Documentation & Paperwork
- Prepare and manage all necessary project documentation, including:
- Daily site reports
- Method statements
- Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
- Inspection checklists and test records
- Technical submissions and shop drawings
- Maintain proper filing and document control for audit and handover
- Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with WSH requirements, site safety rules, and company safety policies
- Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox meetings
- Ensure quality of works meets project and client standards
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities
- Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with Project Manager, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Coordinate interface works between different trades
- Support testing, commissioning, handover, and defect rectification
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related discipline)
- Minimum 2–5 years site experience in construction / M&E / EPC projects
- Strong understanding of site coordination, construction sequencing, and documentation
- Able to prepare schedules and reports independently
- Familiar with Singapore construction practices and safety requirements
- Good communication and coordination skills
