Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver network, infrastructure, and technology projects across enterprise and service-provider environments. The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive complex initiatives involving Cisco technologies, partners, and customers in a fast-paced regional environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to closure
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, RAID logs, and status reports
- Ensure adherence to agreed governance, quality, and compliance standards
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and partners
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and issues clearly
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder reviews
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, presales, vendors, and partners
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery
- Support engineers and solution teams to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Manage project issues and drive timely resolution
- Control scope changes through formal change management processes
Financial & Resource Management
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and actuals
- Manage resource allocation and utilization
- Ensure project delivery remains within approved financial parameters
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage third-party vendors and system integrators
- Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations, timelines, and quality expectations
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, change requests, and closure reports
- Provide regular project status updates to management and stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification preferred
Experience
- 5–7 years of project management experience in technology, networking, or IT infrastructure environments
- Experience managing enterprise or regional projects
- Exposure to networking, data centre, cloud, or security projects is highly desirable
- Experience working with Cisco technologies or Cisco partners is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Solid risk management and problem-solving capabilities
- Financial acumen in budgeting and cost control
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience managing projects across APAC or multi-country environments
- Exposure to network transformation, SD-WAN, data centre, or cloud migration projects
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and operational handover processes
- Prior experience working with system integrators, service providers, or large enterprise customers
