Job summary

A technology solutions firm in Singapore is seeking a project manager to oversee end-to-end project execution in a Capital Markets context. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and knowledge of SQL and Jira. This role involves collaboration with global teams and providing support during the go-live phases. Strong analytical skills and effective communication are essential.

Direct Responsibilities
  • Project manager on the different topics allocated, manage end-to-end project on Scoping, execution, testing and production.
  • Functional expert on the domain, conduct end to end studies and architecture and solution definition.
  • Production support where intervention is required on a functional expertise level.
  • Perform end-to-end tests, plan and coordinate UAT, change management and go-live support.
  • Able to work in a matrix environment building a strong relationship with Regional and Central IT teams and clients.
  • Collaborate and follow up with development teams regionally/globally to establish IT Solutions and ensure timely delivery of the IT Solution.
  • Develop good communication channel and good working relationship with Central teams in Europe and ISPL and ability to influence global teams to deliver APAC specific requirements.
  • Pre-empt and elevate any risks/issues to management/steering committees in a timely manner.
  • Provide tactical solution to business in case of tight timelines and collaborate with different stakeholders to provide strategic solution.
  • Provide trainings to Business Users and APS team before the functional project go‑live and prepare support document on the wiki/SharePoint.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Ability to understand transversal architecture in a Capital Markets context.

  • Basic technical analysis skills on systems interfacing, identify gaps and propose resolutions.
  • Knowledge on Trade life cycle.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across geographies.
  • Previous experience in working in Matrix organizations.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Jira and basic MS Office tools.
Specific Qualifications (if required)
  • Transversal front to back project implementation experience – Exposure of referential, trade booking, settlement, Reporting, Regulatory reporting, accounting, group reporting chains.
  • Experience with FO stakeholders as sponsors.

This is a hands‑on role, which will help the candidate develop a good understanding of Global Markets business processes across Front to Back layers, strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy when defining business specifications and testing scenarios.
