Qualifications

932 Design Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage interior design projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our Design team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a site-heavy role and requires strong organization, decisiveness, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts calmly.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning : To develop a comprehensive project plan with project director, including defining project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget. Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and design team to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control. Work closely with our QS to manage the project budget, , and ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Obtain cost estimates from suppliers and contractors, and negotiate pricing when necessary.
  • Material and Resource Selection: Work with the design team to select appropriate materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for the project. Ensure that selections align with the designer and client's preferences, project goals, and budget.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress, milestones, and any changes. Maintain clear and regular communication with the design team, project team members and co-founder.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and reviews to ensure that the interior design work meets quality standards and aligns with the project specifications.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and other relevant records.
  • Problem-solving: Able to stay positive and anticipate and address project challenges and conflicts. Find positive solutions to overcome obstacles and keep the project on track.
  • Site Management: Work closely with sub-contractors to oversee on-site activities, ensuring that construction and installation processes are executed correctly and safely. Maintain good relationship with Sub contractor to ensure good work processes.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of the project and gather feedback from clients and team members. Initiated changes to team working system to make the it more productive and efficient.
