Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Site Manager / Project Lead to oversee residential and renovation projects. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing site teams to ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate has a diploma in civil engineering or related fields, with 3-5 years of experience. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and local regulatory knowledge are essential. This permanent role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday.

Position Title: Site Manager / Project Lead (Residential & Renovation)

Working Location: Ubi

Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM)

Salary: Basic Salary

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute landed house, condominium, and HDB renovation projects, ensuring completion within schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Lead and supervise site teams and subcontractors, allocating manpower and resources to meet project milestones.
  • Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings, specifications, and design details, highlight discrepancies and propose practical solutions.
  • Coordinate and attend site and technical meetings with clients, consultants, main contractors, and authorities.
  • Manage site works, including structural alterations, architectural finishes, and interior fit‑out to comply with approved drawings and regulations.
  • Monitor daily site progress, conduct regular inspections, and enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
  • Prepare and update project programs, work schedules, and progress reports for management and clients.
  • Handle contract administration, including variation orders, progress claims, back‑charges, and final accounts.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on procurement, delivery, and installation to avoid delays.
  • Resolve site issues promptly and provide technical guidance to the project team.
  • Perform other ad hoc project‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or similar.

Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.

Having landed house construction or condo/HDB renovation experience would be an advantage.

Good knowledge of local regulations, authority requirements, and construction methods for residential projects.

Strong leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving skills, able to manage multiple projects independently.
