Qualifications

Project Engineer (Local Hire – Full Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support daily project operations, planning, coordination, and site execution for insulation, scaffolding, and painting works.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a full Project Engineer position and gain hands‑on technical and project management experience in Singapore’s oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
  • Assist Project Engineers/Managers in preparing project schedules, manpower plans, and daily work programs.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, safety teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Update progress reports, daily site records, and work permits.
2. Site Execution Support
  • Attend site walkdowns and toolbox meetings to understand work requirements.
  • Ensure work is executed according to specifications, drawings, and client standards.
  • Monitor daily work progress and highlight delays, risks, or resource shortages.
3. Technical & Documentation Support
  • Prepare installation details, method statements, risk assessments, and inspection checklists.
  • Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTO), BOQ verification, and work measurement.
  • Support submission of QA/QC documents such as MIR, WIR, material certifications, and progress claims.
4. Stakeholder Communication
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align work sequences and priorities.
  • Provide updates to project managers and supervisors on work status and challenges.
  • Ensure clear communication between site and office regarding materials, manpower, and safety issues.
5. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure work activities comply with safety requirements and permit-to-work systems.
  • Participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident reporting.
  • Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with site safety rules.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or related field).
  • Preferably 0–2 years experience in project coordination or engineering roles.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge in insulation, scaffolding, painting, or oil & gas work is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Willing to work on‑site and in a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project tracking tools.
  • Singaporean / PR preferred
