Responsibilities
- Manage Deep Soil Mixing or Piling job direct operations as well as manage subcontractors
- Deal with client on progress, reporting, QA/QC, scheduling and planning
- Handle design, submission and compliance
- Oversee and manage civil and building construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and schedules.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Ensure and monitor all instrumentation compliance to the design requirement.
- Address any non-conformities promptly and effectively.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proactive measures are in place to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.
- Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and other professionals, to achieve project goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment on-site.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, while candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience will be given preference.
- Experience with Bored Pile or Ground Improvement is highly advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office / Ms Project, AutoCAD
- Strong technical knowledge of civil and building construction practices and standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
