Overview
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction/ Quarrying
  • Position Title: Project Coordinator
  • Working Location: Sin Ming Lane (Nearest MRT: Bright Hill)
  • Working Hours: Mon – Sat (8:30AM – 5:30PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities across project sites
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure timely completion
  • Interpret and review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings
  • Source and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Review technical specifications; assist in vendor selection
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, engineers, architects, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and reviews
  • Manage and certify subcontractor and vendor progress claims
  • Handle variation orders (VOs): assessment, documentation, and approval
  • Support Project Manager in planning and execution of works
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site housekeeping standards
  • Perform administrative tasks related to project operations & other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in contract administration, vendor selection, and claims processing an advantage
  • Landed residential construction experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of drawings, construction methods, and project coordination
  • Must be proactive, organized, and able to work independently across multiple sites
  • Own transport preferred (allowance provided), or transport between sites arranged (Grab/company vehicle for Class 3 license holders)
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
