The Program Sales Manager (Singapore) will play a key role in growing a new basketball league and programs in Singapore. This individual will be responsible for business development, marketing, team recruitment, sponsorship acquisition, and operational management with a primary focus on player recruitment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for basketball, strong entrepreneurial skills, and experience in sports management, business development, or event organization.

Business Development & Growth
  • Contribute and support a strategic plan to establish and expand the basketball league programs across Singapore.
  • Recruit junior players into paid programs.
  • Identify and secure partnerships with local businesses, sponsors, and community organizations to drive revenue.
  • Build relationships with schools, universities, sports complexes, and community centres for league venues.
  • Research and analyze market trends to optimize league offerings and attract more participants.
Marketing & Brand Development
  • Work with the marketing team to create campaigns (social media, email, community outreach) to attract players, teams, and fans.
  • Organize promotional events, tryouts, open gyms, and community engagement activities to generate excitement.
Community & Player Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with basketball organizations and stakeholders across Singapore.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in business development, sales, or sports management.
  • Strong knowledge of basketball rules, league operations, and competitive structures.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong experience in marketing, sponsorship sales, and social media management.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle on-site issues.
  • Proficiency in event planning, budgeting, and sponsorship acquisition.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to support league operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in one or more of the following - sales, marketing, sponsorship, fundraising, or community engagement.
  • Familiarity with sports management software and digital marketing tools.
  • Fluency in English is required.
