Job description

We are seeking a Product Controller to join a leading global alternative investment firm specializing in macro and multi-strategy trading. The ideal candidate will support a broad range of asset classes including fixed income, derivatives, and securities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and validate daily P&L across multi-asset portfolios.
  • Support P&L attribution and explain key drivers such as market moves, new trades, and carry.
  • Assist with independent pricing, valuation checks, and fair‑value methodologies.
  • Resolve booking issues, trade breaks, and valuation discrepancies with traders, operations, and risk teams.
  • Provide real‑time support to portfolio managers in a lean, dynamic environment.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and control enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in product control, valuation control, fund accounting with P&L exposure, or similar roles in banking, investment management or fund administration.
  • Good understanding of financial products—cash products, derivatives, and basic OTC structures.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python/SQL is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, handle time‑sensitive deliverables, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
