The Job

You'll act as the financial control point for the Interest Rate Derivatives desk, ensuring accurate daily profit & loss (P&L) reporting, monitoring trades, and maintaining strong governance over financial records

Responsibilities:

• Produce daily P&L reports and break down key drivers
• Provide commentary on significant P&L movements linked to desk strategies
• Monitor new/late deals, off-market trades, and justify exceptions
• Investigate discrepancies between reported P&L and trader estimates
• Perform monthly reconciliations between management reports and the general ledger
• Certify balance sheet accounts and compute reserves
• Report key risk and performance indicatorsSupport audits, streamline workflows, and review control processes for gaps

The Talent

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business
• Knowledge of treasury products and derivatives is an advantage
