Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge? Our technology firm, based in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in procurement within the M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers [locally and overseas], to contract negotiation and final purchase orders
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their suitability in terms of quality, price, and reliability.
- Oversee company facilities, logistics and shipping arrangements (local & international)
- Monitor, support and ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, ISO and HSE requirements.
- Manage and maintain all licensing/insurance renewals for the company.
- Handling of the company’s vehicles maintenance and licencing.
- Resolve supplier disputes and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or performance.
- Support cross-functional teams in project planning and procurement needs.
- Monitor the inventory count and manage inventory records to anticipate future needs as well as ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the section manager or supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands‑on experience in procurement, preferably in M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good understanding of Singapore’s procurement regulations and best practices.
