- Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with overall project financial objectives.

- Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis for major purchases.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers aligned with sustainability and ESG goals.
- Foster long-term partnerships to enhance supply chain resilience.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure procurement activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and sustainability standards.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions.
- Conduct due diligence on suppliers, including ethical sourcing and ESG compliance.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Oversee logistics planning for timely material delivery to the construction site.
- Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent delays and cost overruns.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with engineering, construction, legal, and finance teams to ensure procurement meets project needs.
- Act as the key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.
- Provide regular updates to project leadership on procurement progress and challenges.
Digitalization & System Optimization
- Utilize Sage for procurement validation, tracking, and reporting.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to streamline procurement workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy and integration across procurement and project management tools.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.
- Optimize procurement workflows.
Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement
- Implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to procurement governance and risk management practices.
Other Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and construction teams to align procurement with project milestones.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in SAF and biorefinery sectors.
