Job summary

Craft Union Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Procurement Executive to join our team, focusing on sourcing, supplier management, and cost control to support our B2B provision goods business.

You will negotiate, issue POs, monitor inventory, and collaborate with warehouse, QA, and market intel to optimize procurement performance and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Preferably in F&B, provision goods, wholesale, or FMCG B2B sector.
• Proficiency in ERP/procurement software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & supplier management, onboarding of prospective suppliers and distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, lead times, and MOQs; issue POs and follow up on fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse/logistics to prevent stockouts/overstock.
• Inspect inbound shipments; coordinate QA/warehouse to meet standards and shelf-life.
• Handle supplier claims, returns, and delivery discrepancies efficiently.
• Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations and supply disruptions; seek cost-saving options.

As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking a proactive and meticulous Procurement Executive to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard prospective suppliers and distributors for provision goods (food items, dry goods, household products, etc.).

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key vendor partners.

• Negotiation & Purchasing:

  • Negotiate optimal pricing, credit terms, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs) to maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on fulfillment to ensure on‑time delivery.

• Inventory & Demand Planning:

  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse/logistics teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

  • Analyze sales trends and seasonal demand patterns to optimize reorder points.

• Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution:

  • Inspect inbound shipment documentation and coordinate with QA/warehouse staff to ensure goods meet required product standards and shelf‑life requirements.

  • Handle supplier claims, returns, and delivery discrepancies efficiently.

• Market Intelligence & Cost Control:

  • Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions affecting provision commodities.

  • Continuously seek cost‑saving initiatives and alternative sourcing options.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, preferably within the F&B, provision goods, wholesale, or FMCG B2B sector.

• Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with good numerical sense and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in ERP/procurement software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
