Job summary

SMS GLOBAL MARINE SERVICE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Procurement Executive / Senior Executive to manage regional purchasing, quotations, and supplier negotiations in Singapore. This role emphasizes fast, accurate quotations, strong communication, and teamwork to meet service targets.

You will coordinate price analysis, data updates, and ensure high PO fulfillment while maintaining compliance with SOPs. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for growth in maritime logistics.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and experience in supply and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Procure regionally to fulfil orders and quotation accuracy.
• Source best market price to remain competitive while ensuring quality.
• Analyze data and update price lists for Singapore office.
• Achieve sales margins and quotation win rates with the team.
• Coordinate customer product inspections and special projects.
• Ensure high purchase order fulfilment and SOP compliance.
• Lead and motivate the team, participate in weekly/monthly performance reviews.
• Provide support across departments and assist in training.

Job Title: Procurement Executive / Senior Executive
Location: Pioneer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 0900-1800hrs

Job Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for regional customer’s purchasing to fulfil order, in the aim of improving service efficiency by swift and accurate quotation by good communication. It requires the personnel work with high sense of responsibility and reliable service.
• Source the best market price to end price competitive and quality.
• Responsible for data analysis and price list updates.
• Responsible for target sales margin, item win rate and item amount win rate in Singapore office.
• Responsible for ensuring that sales target is achieved with the team.
• Responsible for quotation / customer bidding to ensure higher quotation order rate.
• Responsible for coordinating customer product inspections and customer special projects with team in Singapore.
• Coordinate and support all departments when they require help.
• Full compliance with SOP of company, training the team member in the dept to fulfil all quotation and purchasing order process.
• Ensure the purchasing team has the highest purchase order fulfil rate.
• Motivate and influence whole team to enhance a strong teamwork with own dept and other depts, keep up positive and passion attitude atmosphere, recognize and evaluate each member’s contribution and performance through weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting and appraisal.
• Fully execute the policy given by company and keep fully execution, take part in all trainings organized by company to improve management ability.
