Job summary

MADAOCHENGGONG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement for a growing F&B group in Singapore.

You will oversee ingredients, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies, while developing strategies to achieve cost savings and reliable delivery. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and coordinate with operations, finance, and management to meet purchasing requirements and optimize spend.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the F&B, hospitality, food distribution, or retail industry.
• Experience managing food and beverage procurement is highly preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant supplies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in purchasing procedures, inventory management, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's procurement activities across food ingredients, beverages, packaging, equipment, and operational supplies.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve competitive pricing and cost savings.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Source new suppliers and alternative products to improve cost efficiency and supply reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Monitor market prices, product availability, and industry trends.
• Coordinate with restaurant operations, kitchen, finance, and management teams to understand purchasing requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential items.
• Establish and maintain purchasing procedures, approval processes, and procurement SOPs.
• Review purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor procurement budgets and analyze purchasing costs and variances.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate purchasing records and timely supplier payments.
• Identify opportunities to reduce food costs, wastage, and unnecessary purchasing expenses.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant Singapore regulations.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and provide recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Good understanding of food ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant operational supplies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory management, and cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple suppliers and purchasing requirements.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Candidates with Singapore F&B procurement experience will have an advantage.
