Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Officer for the electronics and mechanical industry to manage supplier selection, cost control, and delivery performance.

The role requires evaluating supplier capabilities, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with aerospace/manufacturing standards. You will also manage inventories, monitor orders, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize procurement and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Eng.
• At least 2 years procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 quality systems.
• SAP or ERP proficiency.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify and evaluate suppliers meeting quality, cost, delivery and reliability requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities via promotions, rebates, and other programs.
• Assess supplier capabilities to meet specifications, quality and delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery; place purchases within authority limits.
• Monitor forecasts, inventories, production schedules, and purchase orders to support operations.
• Track purchase orders and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Source alternative suppliers to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance against Quality, Delivery, Cost and Flexibility (QDCF).
• Build relationships with suppliers and partners to support long-term objectives.
• Liaise with customers on obsolete parts, last-time buys, and alternative sourcing.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and aerospace/manufacturing requirements.
