Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Procurement Officer in the electronics and mechanical sector at Bedok South, Singapore.

Working Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:30 pm, with a basic salary of 3,000 to 4,000 SGD plus variable benefits. Responsibilities include supplier evaluation, cost-saving initiatives, negotiations, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality and compliance across aerospace/manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in engineering or related field with at least 2 years procurement experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, research, and evaluate suppliers and stockists that meet quality, cost, delivery, and reliability requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, such as promotions and rebates, to achieve procurement savings.
• Assess supplier capabilities and products for compliance with specs, quality and delivery commitments.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing/terms and delivery schedules; execute purchases within authority limits.
• Manage and monitor forecasts, inventory, production schedules, purchase requisitions and purchase orders to support operations.
• Track PO status with suppliers and update internal stakeholders on delivery.
• Source alternative suppliers to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance against Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Flexibility (QDCF) objectives.
• Build relationships with suppliers and strategic partners for long-term objectives.
• Liaise with customers on obsolete parts management and alternative sourcing.
