Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Officer for the Electronics & Mechanical Industry to manage procurement activities at Bedok, Singapore. You will source suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure on-time delivery to support production schedules.

The role requires a diploma or degree in manufacturing/electronics/mechanical engineering with at least 2 years of procurement experience in manufacturing. Proficiency with SAP/ERP and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management Systems and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, research, and evaluate suppliers and stockists meeting quality, cost, delivery, and reliability requirements.
• Identify promotions, rebates, and cost-saving opportunities to achieve procurement savings.
• Assess supplier capabilities and products to meet technical specifications and delivery commitments.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and execute purchases within approval limits.
• Monitor customer forecasts, inventory, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and orders to support operations.
• Track purchase orders with suppliers and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
• Source alternative suppliers to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance against Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Flexibility objectives.
• Build relationships with suppliers and strategic partners to support long-term objectives.
• Liaise with customers regarding obsolete parts, last-time buys, and alternative sourcing.
