Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to develop and implement real-time Process Analytical Technology (PAT) methods. The role requires expertise in integrating PAT systems with process control technologies, particularly DeltaV DCS. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and hands-on experience with spectroscopic tools. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement real-time Process Analytical Technology (PAT) methods (e.g. IR, UV, Raman) to provide enhanced process understanding, optimization, and control.
  • Select, acquire, and interpret spectral data, process monitoring data, and multivariate analysis tools.
  • Facilitate technology transfers between R&D and manufacturing sites, enhancing PAT network capabilities across the company.
  • Collaborate with global teams across company USA to deploy novel PAT applications and techniques.
  • Lead the procurement and commissioning of new PAT equipment, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Integrate PAT equipment with DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for seamless process monitoring and control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline.
  • Hands on experience with spectroscopic PAT tools (NIR, Raman, FTIR, UV/Vis), probes and chemometric/multivariate analysis tools (e.g. SIMCA, or equivalent).
  • Practical experience integrating PAT systems with process control systems, preferably DeltaV DCS or other major DCS platforms.
  • Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV) and authoring IQ/OQ/PQ, validation plans and GxP documentation.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements for data integrity, GxP, and engineering/EHS standards.
