Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a high-caliber engineer to develop and optimize wafer-level processes for high-performance memory manufacturing.

You will drive process development across photolithography, etch, CMP, deposition, and related steps, coordinating with global teams to meet performance and yield goals. The role emphasizes AI-enabled tooling, advanced process monitoring, and building robust POR/MOR documentation for smooth product transfers to production.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with ≥3 years, or Bachelor’s with ≥5 years in a relevant field.
• Deep understanding of chemistry, kinetics, thermodynamics and mass transport.
• Collaboration with local and overseas teams on projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize wafer-level processes to meet node requirements across photolithography, dry etch, CMP, deposition, and related steps.
• Initiate experiments to widen process margins and test manufacturability of next node solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in quality, yield and productivity improvement meetings.
• Provide POR and MOR documentation for product transfer to production.
• Collaborate globally with Singapore, Boise, and Taiwan sites to deploy tech strategies.
