Job summary

talent trader group pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced technical pre-sales architect to drive design and positioning of data centre, cloud and infrastructure solutions in Singapore.

You will lead discovery, create solution architectures and Bills of Materials, and present technical options to clients. You will collaborate with sales teams, mentor junior specialists, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to standards while staying abreast of AI/ML infrastructure trends.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless and network security.
• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization, HCI and HPC solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, including HPC, networking, data centre and related technologies is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales activities for active infrastructure and data centre solutions.

• Work closely with Sales teams to identify opportunities and develop technically sound solutions.
• Manage and support relationships with technology vendors and solution partners.
• Coordinate technical validation, proof-of-concept activities and vendor support where required.
• Lead and mentor pre-sales specialists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Support large-scale and multi-country projects involving multiple technology disciplines.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends and competitive solutions.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet requirements for scalability, performance, security and reliability.
• Contribute to technical standards, solution frameworks and best practices.
• Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• At least 4 - 6 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture or a similar customer-facing role, preferably with experience supporting complex or large-scale data centre, cloud, or hyperscale environments.

• Strong technical knowledge of routing, switching, wireless and network security.

• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization, HCI and HPC solutions.

• Experience designing and positioning enterprise or data centre infrastructure solutions.

• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, including HPC, networking, data centre and related technologies, is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel when required.
