Job summary

tap growth ai is seeking a Technology Support Services Presales Manager to lead a specialized team and drive design and promotion of active infrastructure solutions across the region. This hands-on role blends technical depth with leadership to deliver comprehensive solutions.

You will own end-to-end designs, validate architectures, manage OEM relationships, and coach sales teams while ensuring security, scalability, and top-tier performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in active infrastructure design, implementation and commissioning.
• At least 4 years in presales/solutions architecture with customer engagement.
• Proven ability to design and articulate complex architectures.
• Strong routing, switching, wireless, security, compute, storage, HPC and virtualization expertise.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary presales lead for active infrastructure opportunities.
• Develop end-to-end designs and validate architectures; produce BOMs.
• Manage technical relationships with key OEMs and know their portfolios.
• Provide presales support across SEA, India and APAC; collaborate across regions.
• Partner with Sales to shape opportunities and qualify technical requirements.
• Deliver technical coaching and enablement to sales and junior resources.
• Ensure solutions align with best practices for security, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical presales lead for active infrastructure opportunities, including routing, switching, security, and data centre networking.
• Develop end-to-end solution designs and validate architectures, producing high-quality Bills of Materials aligned with customer specifications.
• Manage technical relationships with key OEMs, maintaining in-depth knowledge of their portfolios and strategies.
• Provide presales support across Southeast Asia, India, and broader APAC, including complex bids requiring collaboration across regions.
• Partner closely with Sales to shape opportunities and qualify technical requirements for differentiated solutions.
• Deliver technical coaching and enablement to sales teams and junior presales resources as needed.
• Ensure alignment of solutions with best practices for security, scalability, and performance, while staying current with emerging technologies in networking.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, implementation, and commissioning of active infrastructure technologies.
• At least 4 years in a presales or solutions architecture role with direct customer engagement responsibility.
• Proven ability to design and articulate complex architectures both technically and commercially.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, wireless, network security, compute, storage, HPC, and virtualization solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability to make impactful recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
