Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Technical Pre-Sales Specialist to lead pre-sales for infrastructure and data centre solutions.

You will translate customer needs into scalable architectures and collaborate with Sales to craft compelling proposals. Responsibilities include solution design, BOM reviews, technical validation, and mentoring pre-sales specialists across multi-country projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution architecture in data centre/cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless and network security.
• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization, HCI and HPC.
• Experience designing enterprise or data centre infrastructure solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure (HPC, networking, data centre) is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales activities for active infrastructure and data centre solutions.
• Provide technical expertise across networking, wireless, security, compute, storage, virtualization and related technologies.
• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design and architecture for complex customer opportunities.
• Develop and review Bills of Materials (BOM) based on customer requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, workshops and solution discussions.
• Work closely with Sales teams to identify opportunities and develop technically sound solutions.
• Manage and support relationships with technology vendors and solution partners.
• Coordinate technical validation, proof-of-concept activities and vendor support where required.
• Lead and mentor pre-sales specialists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Support large-scale and multi-country projects involving multiple technology disciplines.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends and competitive solutions.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet requirements for scalability, performance, security and reliability.
• Contribute to technical standards, solution frameworks and best practices.
• Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 - 6 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture or a similar customer-facing role, preferably with experience supporting complex or large-scale data centre, cloud, or hyperscale environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of routing, switching, wireless and network security.
• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization, HCI and HPC solutions.
• Experience designing and positioning enterprise or data centre infrastructure solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, including HPC, networking, data centre and related technologies, is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel when required.
