Role Overview
ChainUp is seeking a Presales Solution Engineer to support our global business in delivering SaaS-based, white-label solutions for the Web3 and blockchain economy.
This role is suitable for candidates with a technical background who are keen to build a career in presales solutioning and customer success. You will work closely with Sales, Product Engineering, Project Management, and Customer Success teams to support customer engagements, solution demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Training and mentorship will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support global sales activities through product demonstrations
- Technical workshops
- RFI/RFP responses
- Technical proposals and solution documentation
- Assist in translating product and technical features into customer-relevant value explanations
- Participate in presales solution scoping discussions under guidance, ensuring feasibility and clarity
- Support collaboration between customers, sales teams and product engineering during technical discussions
- Assist project managers in ensuring scoped deliverables and timelines align with ChainUp delivery standards
- Conduct basic market and research to support solution positioning
- Support post-sales professional services activities where required, contributing to customer value and service quality
- Participate in internal initiatives, including the adoption of AI tools to improve presales and customer success effectiveness
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Foundational knowledge of: Web technologies, Software systems, Blockchain or Web3 concepts (preferred)
- Presales or customer-facing technical experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Mandarin / Chinese language skills are advantageous due to interaction with China-based engineering teams not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required to support global meetings
- Willingness to travel occasionally, if required
