International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) serves millions of customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Premier Banking Consultant.

In this role, you will

  • Proactively manage and deepen relationships with existing offshore clients, building a strong foundation for long-term customer growth
  • Work closely with Wealth Management teams – including investment, insurance and treasury specialists – to deliver holistic financial solutions
  • Nurture and activate client portfolios to grow balances and achieve Premier relationship thresholds
  • Educate and encourage clients to adopt a Digital First approach, promoting the use of remote and digital channels for low-value transactions
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, perform KYC (Know-Your-Client) updates, and ensure strict adherence to Offshore Sales Processes, Cross Border Guidelines and internal Risk & Compliance frameworks
  • Provide clients with regular market updates, identifying their financial needs and recommending appropriate wealth management solutions
  • Perform market analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities, ensuring portfolio quality and broad basing of solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products to tailor solutions that support clients’ goals and business growth

To be successful you will need

  • Strong academic qualifications and good knowledge in Wealth Management with a proven track record of managing clients’ portfolio (Premier banking)
  • CFMAS (Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services) certification is required
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills to be able to work individually as well as to collaborate with stakeholders to meet the needs of these clients
  • Solid knowledge of Premier Banking products, client needs and regulatory requirements including compliance, credit and risk management
  • Fluency in English and Chinese to engage Mandarin-speaking clients effectively. Cantonese proficiency is an advantage

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
