Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to join our Singapore team in a pre-sales role.

You will partner with Account Executives to demonstrate Cisco's software and product solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to design tailored configurations for customer requirements. You will drive opportunities in the Singapore theatre and ASEAN, delivering technical presentations, and contributing to formal sales plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Pre-sales experience required; strong preference for candidates with Cisco product knowledge or experience with key competitor technologies.
• Minimum of CCNP/CCIE (Networking) certification, BS/BA in EE/CS, or equivalent vendor certification required.
• Broad generalist knowledge across Cisco's solutions portfolio, with deeper expertise in enterprise networking and security. Additional knowledge in collaboration, data center, cloud solutions, and virtualization is highly desirable.
• Industry knowledge of relevant solution sets, product specifications, performance criteria, and applications.
• Strong understanding of competitive solutions and offerings in your area of specialization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and add value in collaborative environments.
• Demonstrated consultative skills, acting as a technical advisor to both sellers and customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to relate and cross-sell multi-architecture solutions during customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor for assigned accounts and partners within a defined geography.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations for customers, partners, and prospects.
• Develop and contribute to formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
• Stay current on competitive landscape, industry trends, and Cisco product innovations.
• Serve as a networking specialist, providing consultative support to other Systems Engineers.
• Foster collaboration across teams to ensure comprehensive sales coverage.
