Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an Associate Sales Engineer for its cybersecurity team covering the ASEAN region.

You will work with senior SEs and account teams to turn discovered use cases into customized demonstrations, PoCs, and automated builds that prove the value of Cisco's security architecture for customers. You’ll use AI-assisted tools to accelerate build times, script demos, and automate setup, while evolving toward more solution-design discussions and customer-facing work as you grow

Qualifications

2-3 years of relevant work experience in security or sales engineering.
Technical background in CS/IT/engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
Familiarity with scripting, APIs, automation and security tooling.

Responsibilities

Translate customer use cases into tailored demos and PoCs.
Build, configure, and script across Cisco security portfolio to reflect real scenarios.
Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate demo builds and environment setup.
Maintain and refresh demo/POC environments for reuse by the team.
Collaborate with senior SEs and account teams to understand design rationale and gaps.
Document builds and configurations for hand-off and future extensions.
Partner with TAC, customer success, and partners to address product gaps or questions.
