We’re looking for a dynamic PR & Events specialist with a proven ability to generate impactful coverage, execute standout product launches and events, and cultivate strong media and influencer partnerships — all with the goal of inspiring more kids and accelerating consumer growth. Core Responsibilities
  • Drive top of mind awareness for the LEGO® brand via enhancing buzz and engagement among target consumers and shoppers across Singapore and Malaysia markets
  • Develop strong and effective PR communication plan including innovative ideas at affordable cost for various activations e.g. consumer events, product launches, social occasions
  • Lead event planning closely linked to the aligned brand activation calendar to maximize consumers sales and PR
  • Manage external PR/activation agency, and execute PR plan including press releases, story pitching, media kits in joint collaboration with the agency
  • Build strong relations with mainstream media, influencers (across different passion points) and other key external partners
  • Lead crisis management, corporate PR and represent LEGO at media/partner events
Critical Metrics would be
  • Quality, reach, and impact of earned media coverage
  • Event performance against footfall, engagement, PR value, and sales KPIs
  • Strength and effectiveness of partnerships and collaborations
  • On‑time, on‑budget delivery of initiatives
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder satisfaction

This role is in Singapore, Malaysia, Travel Retail APAC business unit (SMTR BU). Overall focus is to accelerate business growth via recruiting and retaining kids and adults consumers.

This role is part of the BU marketing organization, which includes Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, PR & Events – all reporting to the Marketing Director for the BU.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Solid experience in PR, events, partnerships, or integrated marketing (retail, lifestyle, FMCG, or consumer brands preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the retail environment and omnichannel marketing
  • Proven track record in managing agencies, media, and partners
  • Experience in delivering high-impact events and brand activations
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate brand initiatives into measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to own and lead crisis management and crisis communications for the brand
  • Strong collaborator and able to work across various functions and external partners
