YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB FUNCTION

Planning process owner in Asia Pacific region, to manage demand planning, material planning, supply planning, S&OP; and lead Asia Pacific revenue (stock availability), cost (write-off management) and cashflow (inventory) objectives.

UNIT FUNCTION :

Supervise the APAC regional planning team and functionally guide the country planning teams. Lead the planning process in Asia to support revenue, cost and cash objectives. Accountable for delivering planning targets for the region.. Lead improvement initiatives to support decision making. Working collaboratively with APAC SC teams to drive operational excellence, optimization and profitable growth of our APAC business.

DUTIES

  • Develop and execute APAC Planning and S&OP Strategy
  • Develop APAC Planning governance, framework, organization and competencies, customer‑centric culture, and KPIs at regional and country level
  • Be the champion of continuous improvement in APAC Planning, applying best practices, standards, and leverage tools and digital technology in driving excellence
  • Be a subject matter expert in Planning and business partner to stakeholders
  • Manage demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, inventory and SLOB (Slow moving and Obsolete). Lead the monthly demand and supply planning process to ensure alignment and a single set of numbers linking demand, supply and financial commitments.
  • Accountable for delivering inventory targets for the region, partnering with supply chain buyers, product managers to ensure process and metrics in place to improve control
  • Take full ownership and accountability of SLOB process for APAC
  • Deliver performance metrics for the region with regards to forecast accuracy, OTIF and lead times
  • Provide clear summary of high‑level risks and opportunities to Business Unit leadership for action planning
YOUR PROFILE
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • More than 15 years' hands‑on experience in demand / material / supply planning, regional planning, S&OP, Procurement, Customer Service, Order Fulfilment, Supply Chain Management
  • Expert‑level SAP user
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communications, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement S&OP, supply chain and service strategies, initiatives, and transformation within organization
  • Prior experience in supply chain team management with a Chemical, FMCG, or Distribution MNCs is highly‑valued
  • Ability to balance long‑term strategic direction with day‑to‑day operational challenges and requirements.
  • Ability to create functional and scalable systems and processes,
  • Competency in continuously‑improving status quo
  • Eye for details with strong stakeholder management skills,
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to present analyzed information concisely
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast‑changing environment
  • Proven track record of strong talent management

EDUCATION LEVEL : With university degree or above
