Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with defined customer segments.
- Prepare detailed sales plans based on market analysis and buyer behavior.
- Track sales channels, competitor activities, and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Evaluate sales performance, diagnose gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Generate and nurture leads through strategic networking and outreach initiatives.
- Design and implement plans to attract new customers and expand market reach.
- Strengthen customer acquisition and retention through targeted sales initiatives.
- Assess customer needs and deliver tailored sales proposals and solutions.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain close follow-ups with key accounts to close deals and secure timely payments.
- Establish and manage structured customer relationship programs.
- Leverage customer feedback and market insights to support product and service improvements.
- Use data-driven analysis to enhance customer loyalty and long-term retention.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer issues and escalations.
- Lead and manage sales team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- Plan, monitor, and control the department’s budget.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team performance on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of sales personnel.
- Review and optimize internal workflows and processes for greater efficiency.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification).
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective sales methodologies to drive revenue growth.
- Strong experience in monitoring sales channels and analyzing competitors and market demand.
- Skilled in evaluating sales performance metrics and customer feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop targeted sales plans for specific customer segments.
- Proven capability in managing and allocating departmental budgets efficiently.
- Proficient in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and proposals.
- Strong people management skills, including assessing team needs, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
