Job summary

A leading entertainment company in Singapore is seeking a skilled People Business Partner to support teams across Singapore and Hong Kong. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of HR experience, be proficient in English, and have the ability to work with Cantonese or Mandarin speakers. About the Role
  • Partner with leaders across two markets to translate business priorities into practical people strategies.
  • Lead and advise on performance, talent, capability building and succession planning.
  • Drive employee relations with a commercially sound, people-centred approach.
  • Champion engagement, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Oversee key HR operations — onboarding, data accuracy, payroll inputs, reporting and compliance.
About You
  • 8+ years of HR generalist/partnering experience, including direct exposure to supporting teams or operations in Hong Kong.
  • Language capability essential: strong proficiency in English plus the ability to comfortably support leaders and employees in Hong Kong (Cantonese or Mandarin preferred, or proven business partnering experience with HK stakeholders).
  • Strong grounding in HR fundamentals, employment legislation, and employee relations.
  • Confident stakeholder manager able to coach, influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Comfortable with data insights and turning people metrics into recommendations.
  • Pragmatic, proactive and energised by working across two dynamic markets.
