Job summary

SMRT TRAINS LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior/HR Executive, People Experience, to provide end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, work pass administration, HR system transactions and employee records management.

You will drive accurate, compliant processes, deliver a positive onboarding experience, and support process improvements and HR projects within a fast-paced transit environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services or HR Administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute pre-onboarding and Day 1 onboarding activities, serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders and ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Deliver and facilitate Day 1 onboarding briefings for new hires, providing guidance on HR processes, company policies and available employee support channels.
• Manage and administer Work Permit/Pass applications, renewals, transfers and cancellations, overseeing the end-to-end process to ensure regulatory compliance, timely processing and effective stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain employee documentation, personnel records and HR data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and confidentiality.
• Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including transfers, contract extensions, employment changes and offboarding activities.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate HR operational matters and resolve employee-related issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding cases to ensure timely completion and adherence to service standards.
• Ensure and maintain data integrity and compliance with established HR policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned operational activities and support the implementation of process improvements, system enhancements and HR projects.
• Prepare HR reports, correspondences and administrative documentation as required.
• Perform other HR operational duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned.
