Job summary

SMRT TRAINS LTD. is seeking an HR officer, People Experience, to support recruitment pre-onboarding and ensure a smooth employee experience. You will oversee day-to-day People Experience operations across the employment lifecycle.

You will manage pre-onboarding, Day 1 onboarding, Work Permit/EP processes and maintain accurate HR records while partnering with stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services or HR Administration.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in Human Resources are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute pre-onboarding and Day 1 onboarding activities.
• Facilitate Day 1 briefings for new hires and guidance on HR processes and policies.
• Process Work Permit/Pass applications, renewals, transfers and cancellations.
• Maintain employee documentation and HR records for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle employee lifecycle activities including transfers, contract extensions, changes and offboarding.
• Track outstanding cases and coordinate with stakeholders for timely resolutions.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HR operational matters and inquiries.
• Guide employees on HR processes, system transactions and day-to-day inquiries.
• Review data for accuracy and compliance with HR policies and processes.
• Support process improvements, system enhancements and HR projects.
