Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Technical Analyst in payments.
  • Strong capability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Good understanding of SWIFT MX (ISO 20022) messaging formats.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payments Analyst to join our team and support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise payment platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands‑on experience in payment systems, and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business users to understand functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical design documents, interface specifications, and solution workflows.
  • Analyze existing payment processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and system performance.
  • Support end‑to‑end solution design and integration for bulk file payment processing and corporate banking channels.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of microservices‑based architecture and API‑driven integration.
  • Validate system changes through functional testing, SIT/UAT support, and troubleshooting of payment‑related issues.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory standards, security guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to support production releases and address post‑implementation queries.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for payment flows, message formats, configurations, and system behavior.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–10 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Technical Analyst within the payments or transaction banking domain.
  • Strong capability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Good understanding of SWIFT MX (ISO 20022) messaging formats and payment workflows (preferred).
  • Hands‑on knowledge of Transaction Banking, especially Bulk Payment File processing, corporate payment channels, and related operations.
  • Experience working with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) or similar enterprise payment platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot integration and payment issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
