Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, call centre or contact centre environments will be advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, together with professional telephone etiquette.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate patiently and empathetically.
• Able to remain calm, professional and focused when managing a demanding volume of enquiries.
• Comfortable handling several systems and tasks concurrently while engaging with customers.
• Willing to complete a typing assessment as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a high volume of patient and customer enquiries through telephone, email and live-chat channels.
• Assist with appointment requests and provide accurate information in a timely and professional manner.
• Understand customers' needs by listening carefully and identifying the appropriate information, assistance or follow-up required.
• Liaise with internal departments and relevant teams to coordinate enquiries and ensure appropriate follow-through.
• Manage difficult, sensitive or emotionally challenging conversations with patience, professionalism and empathy.
• Work across multiple applications and systems while maintaining efficient and accurate customer interactions.
• Follow established service procedures, workflows, quality standards and operational guidelines.
• Adjust quickly to updates involving systems, processes, policies and service requirements.
• Recognise recurring customer issues and share relevant observations or suggestions that may enhance service processes.
• Record and update customer interaction details accurately in the appropriate systems when required.
