Job summary

A Food and Beverage Company in Singapore is seeking an Order Fulfillment Officer to manage customer inquiries and order processing. The successful candidate will retrieve messages, process orders, and ensure product availability while working closely with logistics and team members. A Diploma or Degree is required, along with strong communication and attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Navision is advantageous. Salary will be based on experience and knowledge in the food industry will be an asset.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree or equivalent required.
  • Good command of English and one other language essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and respond to customer inquiries via email and phone.
  • Check availability of ordered items and suggest replacements.
  • Process customer orders and shipments in the central system.
  • Print invoices and attach them to purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with logistics for delivery timing and stock availability.
  • Process returns for expired items.

Job description

Work location: Tuas and/or Bedok

As an Order Fulfillment Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Retrieving email and WhatsApp messages, answering customer phone calls, and acknowledging customer emails.
  • Checking the availability of ordered items. If items are unavailable, you must suggest an appropriate replacement to the customer.
  • Process orders and warehouse shipments for food service or retail customers in our business central system.
  • Print invoices and attach them to purchase orders.
  • Applying for a gate pass or loading bay booking for delivery.
  • Check the POD (Proof of Delivery) once the contractor returns the invoices for HD orders and highlights the log sheet.
  • Working closely with the logistics team on stock availability, mass, and delivery timing.
  • Processing returns for expired items in the BC system for Expired Stocks.
  • Posting Van Sales Invoices daily.
  • Attend to customer enquiries and forward this enquiry to the salesperson.
  • Working closely with your team members of order fulfilment coordinators.
Qualifications:
  • 1) Diploma or Degree or Equivalent
  • 2) Good command of English and one other language
  • 2) Experience with Microsoft Navision will be an added advantage

Please note that your role will require attention to detail, strong communication skills, working collaboratively with your team of order fulfilment coordinators, and various department teams.

Note: Salary comensurate with your experience. It will be an added advantage if you have knowledge in the food industry.
