Job Title: Oracle Database Consultant

Job Description We are currently seeking an Oracle Database Consultant. The role involves pre-sales support, implementation, providing first- and second-level support, and project management.

Responsibilities

1. Provide pre-sales technical/functional support to sales teams in engagements with prospective clients, including preparing technical proposals.
2. Responsible for the build, delivery, and integration of proof-of-concept and pilot projects.
3. Manage projects as a leader and communicate effectively with customers and project teams.
4. Coordinate and plan with partners and the company to ensure successful transitions from pre-sales to deployment.
5. Understand customer requirements, map them to product capabilities, and specify how they meet customer needs.
6. Maintain awareness of competitive offerings to justify the technical suitability of company products and services relative to customer requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• More than 12 years of business technology experience, with at least 3 years in development or pre-sales support, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including surrounding tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Recovery Manager, Zabbix, NetBackup, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of Oracle Appliance products and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a strong advantage.
• Experience with setting up and tuning OS platforms (Linux, Windows, UNIX).
• Basic knowledge of shell or script coding is required.
• Knowledge of other databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS-SQL is an advantage.
• Advanced understanding of networking and storage is required.
