Job summary

Operations Manager (Risk & Resilience)

Salary: Up to SGD 8,000
Location: Alexandra Road
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead risk, safety, resilience, and data protection initiatives across our Head Office and school network. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational stability, regulatory compliance, and a safe environment for children and staff within the early childhood education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive organisation-wide risk and resilience planning, including incident readiness and recovery measures.

  • Manage non-routine operational incidents and coordinate with school leaders and internal teams for timely resolution.

  • Partner Facilities teams to ensure school premises meet safety, licensing, and operational standards.

  • Establish risk governance practices, reporting key risk matters to senior management.

  • Lead business continuity planning, crisis response, and emergency preparedness exercises.

  • Promote a strong safety and safeguarding culture across schools through audits, training, and follow-up actions.

  • Oversee workplace safety programmes, incident investigations, and preventive measures.

  • Act as the main contact for regulators, auditors, and external agencies on compliance matters.

  • Take ownership of PDPA compliance, including committee leadership, audits, and staff awareness.

  • Support other operational matters as required in a dynamic school environment.

Requirements
  • Degree in Risk Management, Safety & Health, Business, or a related field.

  • Or 5 – 7 years of experience in risk, safety, compliance, or operational governance roles.

  • Strong understanding of PDPA and workplace safety regulations; education sector exposure is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to manage crises, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Strong coordination and organisational skills.
