Qualifications

Fei Siong Group is a fast-growing food & beverage company with an expanding footprint across Asia. We are seeking a hands-on, strategic, and execution-oriented Operations Manager to lead and support our business expansion in Malaysia.

This role is ideal for a strong operator with deep F&B/QSR experience, proven success in managing multi-store operations, and the capability to build ground-up operational frameworks in a new market. The successful candidate will oversee outlet performance, people leadership, operational standards, and new-store launch activities, while working closely with Singapore HQ to ensure brand alignment and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Outlet Operations Leadership
  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple outlets to achieve consistency, efficiency, and strong service standards.
  • Drive operational discipline through SOP compliance, food safety standards, and daily performance monitoring.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits to review operations, customer experience, and brand execution.
2. Malaysia Market Expansion & New Store Openings
  • Support market-entry strategy and oversee the operational rollout of new outlets.
  • Coordinate manpower planning, recruitment support, training, and operational readiness for all new store launches.
  • Work with HQ teams on fit-out progress, procurement, equipment testing, and pre-opening checks.
3. P&L and Business Performance
  • Assist in managing outlet-level P&L performance including sales, labour cost, food cost, and controllables.
  • Implement cost-optimisation initiatives while driving revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
4. People Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Outlet Managers and Supervisors to strengthen operational capability.
  • Build a strong pipeline for key operational roles through continuous coaching and performance management.
  • Foster a high-performance culture with focus on accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Singapore HQ teams including Operations, HR, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure Malaysia operations are aligned with group strategy, brand standards, and operational goals.
  • Manage regulatory, licensing, and compliance matters in collaboration with local authorities.

  • Willing to travel between Malaysia and Singapore as required.
