Empire Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic freight forwarding professional to support daily sea import and export operations.
You will handle bookings, prepare shipping instructions, draft documents, and liaise with customers and carriers to ensure smooth cargo movement. Handle day-to-day sea import & export operations and documentation (e.g., booking, shipping instructions, BL draft, VGM, customs declaration).
Coordinate with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Monitor shipment schedules, vessel cut-off dates, and ensure timely delivery of documents.
Prepare and verify export documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
Provide proactive updates and after-sales service to clients.
Address customer inquiries, resolve service issues, and maintain strong relationships.
Liaise with internal departments to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in sea import & export operations.
Familiar with import & export documentation, shipping terms (Incoterms), and international trade practices.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of freight forwarding systems is an advantage.
Team player with a customer-oriented mindset.
