Job summary

Kingsmen Global Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an Operations Executive to manage end-to-end freight forwarding documentation and coordinate with customers, vendors and overseas agents to ensure a seamless supply chain flow. You will handle local and overseas inquiries and support monthly closing with accurate records.

The role requires a proactive, service-oriented mindset, 1 year of freight forwarding experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year operational experience in freight forwarding.
• Preferably specialised in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Freight forwarding experience and understanding of transport and logistics processes (Sea) is an advantage.
• Result oriented, pro-active with a positive work attitude and good customer service.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Required skill: Microsoft Word/Excel, Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of documentation flow to facilitate import/export shipments.
• Issue shipment documents (Bill of Lading, permits, invoices, etc).
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and overseas agents to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
• Handle local and overseas customer queries.
• Ensure timely monthly closing of all jobs and maintain shipment documents as audit trail.
• Assist in operations and logistics planning.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to expand our Operations Team with new talent as part of our continued growth and strategic development. This position works with the reporting head and team members in the department to execute service agreements at, or above the customers' standards. He or she is accountable to handle Sea, Air & Land shipments; documentation preparation and to also work closely with the Sales Team to deliver excellent service to our customers.

JOB SCOPE

• Timely completion of documentation flow to facilitate the import/export/cross trade shipments.
• Issue shipment related documents (i.e. Bill of Lading, import/export permits, invoices, etc).
• Coordinate closely with customers, vendors and overseas agents to deliver a seamless supply chain flow.
• Handle both local and overseas customers’ queries.
• Ensure timely monthly closing of all jobs and maintaining relevant documents pertaining to shipments to provide a record and review trail.
• Assist in operations & logistics planning.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 1-year operational experience in freight forwarding is required for this position.
• Preferably specialised in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Freight forwarding experience and a thorough understanding of transport and logistics processes in at least Sea mode of transport will be an added advantage.
• Result oriented, pro-active and possess a positive work attitude with good customer service.
• Fluency in both written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office (Word / Excel), preferably Microsoft Outlook as well.
