Job summary

Empire Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic freight forwarding professional to support daily sea import and export operations.

You will handle bookings, prepare shipping instructions, draft documents, and liaise with customers and carriers to ensure smooth cargo movement. The role requires good communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, and familiarity with freight forwarding systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in freight forwarding, sea import/export.
• Familiar with Incoterms and export/import documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Team player with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day sea import/export operations and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and overseas agents.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely document delivery.
• Prepare and verify export documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates).
• Provide proactive updates and after-sales service.
• Address inquiries, resolve service issues, and maintain relationships.
• Liaise with internal departments to support efficiency and compliance.
